Default "Discover Alaska" for Alaska Cruise?

I need some feedback fast!! We're considering booking today for some early-booking incentives.

We've done our homework and it looks like Discover Alaska offers a good package. Anybody have any experience with them? (I'd really like to leave talk of other companies to other threads please. I'm just looking for pros/cons/experiences with Discover Alaska.)

By the way, this will be our first trip to Alaska. And we are the type travelers that enjoy the "all-inclusive" (at least "most-inclusive") travel packages on our first visit to places.

(And if you do have some experience with Discover Alaska, are the early-booking perks worthwhile?)

Any info appreciated.

If you want an amazing small cruise experience, try Alaskan Dream Cruises | True Alaska With True Alaskans

We took their 8 day trip out of Sitka, Alaska and you have people native of Alaska with you and taking you to small places that the big ships cannot. It is a small and intimate cruise, I think we had 45 people on our boat. The food was amazing. The places we went were great and we met native people who danced and carved and did all types of interaction with us. The boat experience was also a lot of fun.

Thanks. But like I said, I'm really just interested in any feedback I can get regarding Discover Alaska specifically from folks in TV.

We went in May/June and had a wonderful time. I found Discover Alaska to be a good company to do business with. If you haven't booked I would recommend north to south. The land part is pretty structured and then you get to relax on the cruise. Our tour guide for the land met us at the hotel and was great. Took good care of us. The one on the boat wasn't too visible but we really didn't need her. Then the one in Vancouver was also very helpful. The early booking perks were good in my estimation.

If you have already booked your trip you won't be sorry. We took our trip through them and we're not disappointed. From the start of the trip in Vancouver until the end it was indeed fabulous. Great choice. Holland American is probably the best cruise line we've been on. Our cruise was the beginning of July weather was rainy not unusual for Alaska, if you go latter in the season make sure you pack insect repellent and even nets for your head. Enjoy.
