Long Weekend
Looking to go to the beach (either side is fine) for a long weekend. Want nice beach, good restaurants and some nice shopping. Any suggestions on which beach and where to stay? Thanks

I like Clearwater Beach and have enjoyed Crabby Bill's and Frenchys. Enjoy we have such a beautiful state.

I agree with Clearwater Beach. Go South just over the bridge from Clearwater Beach to Sand Key and go the Backwaters. It is MUCH better than Crappy Bills (as we call it). We lived there for a couple years and know the area very well. Frenchy's, now that's good for beach bar food - great Grouper sandwiches!
