Would like destination suggestions for a month in Vermont around July or August. Never been there.

Drive road connecting Bennington with Bratleboro
Drive as much as possible on Route 100 (north south road), include l\L:udlow and points north
Spend a couple of days in Burlington, check out Shelburne Museum
Same for Manchester...there, drive up Mt. Equinox
Check out Todd Lincoln's house in Manchester
marble museum in Rutland

We have gone there several times on a motorcycle from Nova Scotia. We just drive on different roads to see the sights. There is no place that I have ever seen like Vermont. It is beautiful, no matter where you are in the state.

Here's a link to a good website On the right hand side there is a list of many cities in Vermont. Just click on any city that you will be traveling thru and it gives you lots of interesting things to see. Vermont is beautiful. Have fun.
