We know what they call it in the United States.........or do we?

But what do they call that red stuff on spaghetti......in Italy?????

In Italy They Call It Gravy

In Italy They Call It Gravy

They call it sugo.
With meat it's called ragu.

I don't know what they call it in Italy, but my grandparents and my mother were from Italy. I grew up in this country calling it gravy.
