It sounds like there are many people here in TV that may have a specialty dish. Wouldn't it be fun for some of us to get together for an informal cooking class? The classes could be controlled in size by the "first come, first served" method for signing up. The person conducting the class would decide the class size based on the size he/she feels would fit in his/her kitchen. Thoughts?

This does sound like fun. I won't be down to participate until after Thanksgiving, but count me in after then.

I close in December. But it's something I think I would like to participate in! Maybe every month or two meet at someone's house and cook up a meal. Like a gourmet club but not really? More casual? share recipes?

This sounds like a great way to meet and share favorite dishes. My husband and I are newcomers to The Villages - moving into the Village of Charlotte in August, 2012 (lowest southern part of The Villages). Who is interested in forming an informal cooking class?
