Default 138,000 dollar Fireworks Displays

Come on out and see your Wildwood tax money blown up on New Years!

A $138,000 contract with Zambelli Fireworks to provide a 20-minute display on July 3 this year and a seven-minute display for New Year’s, possibly at midnight.
That’s about 5 thousand dollars a minute!

Most normal little towns and cities have these displays.

Didn’t see the cost explained in the news article?

Professional fireworks require professional pyrotechnicians, mortars, the fire department, the police department, ambulances and rescue vehicles in the immediate vicinity on stand-by, security officials and public works department officials and employees to provide safety and crowd control, traffic control, and parking enforcement.

Under $200k is pretty good for a July 4 fireworks display. Up north it's much more expensive.
