I am sure you could find out how with a simple Google search.

Unless you are playing golf, you need to take your car if you are in that big of a hurry. Golf carts are designed to be golf carts, and the braking systems are not designed for faster speeds.

"1/3 of the golf cars are speeding". I believe that I said 30% were speeding and I got accused of inflating that amount.

In a car I observe the speed limit. The exception is on an interstate, if the majority of the drivers are going 5 MPH over, I will do that to help keep the flow as uniform as possible.

They would be unsafe at 25 MPH unless they put in a heavy duty suspension system, heavy duty brakes, and a better exhaust system. However, Florida may have some rules that don't make sense.

It's odd since you have your finger on the pulse of what's right and wrong here that you haven't noticed that EVERY Golf Cart post generates a lot of interest. This is evidenced by the fact that each one has a lot of comments- with yours- a complaint always being a minuscule minority. The fact is that some people haven't seen ANY posts on this subject, so they are interested and they comment. Others, even though they may have seen other Golf Cart posts still comment because they are happy to help their fellow man, rather than be critical of someone seeking guidance.

Of course you don't... How many were due to medical emergencies? I know of several of those... How many were due to CARS making driving errors? Again, several of those have been published... So save me you "High Center of Gravity", "Bad Brakes" and "Bad Suspension" BS. And what does a loud muffler (which the nere carts don't have have to do with anyone dying? "Designed to KILL their passengers"... LOL... Just when I thought I read the silliest thing ever on ToTV...

Its almost like some people haven't seen these post, or didn't know that they could search, or they do know they can search but prefer to learn as much as possible as people offer variations on basic answers- as evisenced by the many answers in this thread. Or it may be that since this is Social Media that people come to interact with friends and neighbors, maintain online relationships, or create new online relationships. Wow. Its almost like there are reasons to be friendly here, but only a couple to be negative, critical and snarky. Acording to TechTarget: "Social media is a collective term for websites and applications that focus on communication, community-based input, interaction, content-sharing and collaboration.
People use social media to stay in touch and interact with friends, family and various communities." Quote:

someone I know really well. But this nameless person only moved it from 16mph to 22mph. His story is he has a weak right foot from a torn achilles, and it gets weary holding the pedal to the metal to achieve top speed. However, I have witnessed personally, this nameless person using the extra couple of mph to pass safely.

Looks like you're fielding a lot of those today. Too bad it isn't easier to find and reference previous responses to the same nonsense in past threads.
