Try getting Microsoft to support an older computer running Windows XP. What will you do when that 8 year old TV shoots craps? You get the idea. Netflix and Amazon Prime quit working on my TiVo. I forced an update, it downloaded the required software, and my TV is smart again. Everything works. The regular updates must just renew the schedule information.

Do you know what model of Tivo you have? We have two in service right now and I am not aware of any issues with streaming services of late. Does your interface look different now? They totally redesigned it a couple years ago but did not force people to get it. We have the new UI on the living room Tivo and the old one in the bedroom.
