Maybe irrational is too kind a word. Further what are the rules you have for under 19 that are different than anywhere in TV.

I understand their downtown will be public, like ours. But, the community is being sold as a place for those who work in the Villages. Many have bought homes with that thought in mind. The retired people are a much larger population and can easily overtake their downtown area. The young families will have no seats in the restaurants, music venues, etc. Maybe I think too much about other people and how my actions will affect them. But, irrational, NO! I am not telling or demanding anyone on this forum to stay away from Middleton. I am asking one simple question. Will there be rules or standards for us older folks? Maybe, simple things like no alcohol in their music area only in our squares. If so, I have no problem abiding by them. I have already learned one standard after posting my question. As an older gentlemen, do not walk the streets of Middleton, alone. I now understand this could cause concern for families with young children. I was investigating the area with ONLY my interests in mind. Now that I am aware, I will never do it again. What is wrong with asking a question? And, hoping for insightful responses? Aren't we all here to learn? Last edited by Randall55; 10-28-2023 at 07:51 PM. |

One needs to consider the source and sometimes, the train is off the tracks.

Yes, some different overpriced, mediocre restaurants would be nice.

Maybe a game of stickball in a cul-de-sac would be a fun way to engage with the young folks.

Since 4 Rivers is, order food at the counter, and pay, pick up your food at the register, with little waiting. Should make many happy with a quick service restaurant.
They do have employees who will take a tray with you to the table, if one is not capable of carrying the tray themselves. While we are big fans of Mission, We do like 4 Rivers, smoked sausage, lean beef (upgrade in price), and CherryWine soda at the beverage machine.
