Warm weather brings people out to the pools, Lake Miona sports pool is closed for major maintenance work, and I have noticed in the Northern areas a transition to a younger population as homes rapidly turnover.

We were at the SS square yesterday. We were the only ones there. It was a ghost town, tumbling tumbleweeds.

Let's see what else we can complain about!? We've been here almost 13 yrs and have been quite happy with everything. We couldn't believe how we weren't hounded by any sales staff after we'd come for a LIFE STYLES visit and met with them. NEVER once do I remember promises!! Now we live in a retirement development and NOT a true city or town. People come, get settled and seem to think they can make changes that comply with their thinking. BUT if the developer does something---oh.man!!! He's a really bad person!! This is a business with a business plan. Residents aren't in the "needing to know" loop except where it matters.

Someone mentioned how folks once were here talking about COVID and masks. THAT too was ad nauseum and I'm glad that they're at least moving on.

May I suggest you folks that are so upset with the Developer visit Latitudes Daytona? So much less hate and angst there. Everyone seems really happy, and they have a great (free) beach club.

TOTV is not a good representation of what life in The Villages is. Most of the people who live here are happy and have far more than a beach club.
