Why is the developer responsible for someone's entertainment today, any holiday, or other days such as St. Patricks Day??? Why not bash Walmart, Home Depot, other big box corporations, dealers, HOAs, and on and on for not "sponsoring" someone's fireworks and entertainment? None of them owe us anything when it comes down to it. Up north it was by the cities with sponsors. Funny Thing is one of the businesses I was on the BOD pit on a heck of a show back in the days. Until the liabilities insurance, catching up with the cost of the display itself, and complaints forced it to stop. Thus, just maybe it has to do with liabilities, not just cost. The ones i seen are wya out in open areas or large bodies of water for that reason and ALL had to drive to them. Someone said do it in LSL. Are you kidding me??? What goes up must come down with all those spent or errant works.

This place waves lots of flags and makes lots of patriotic noise but seems to have trouble putting its money where its mouth is.
This is an unhappy camper, 6 posts and all negative!

I do not watch very many parades, may see a fireworks show every three or four years, but on every fourth of July I always stop for a moment and give thanks for what we have and also being able to live in a country that we are still free !!!!!

Had our Grandkids in town and went to Leesburg for the fireworks. They did a fantastic job and a fun family evening ending with wonderful firework display.
