Default 5$ glass of beer???????????????????????

A friend of mine says that he recently paid $5 for a glass of draft beer at Lopez Country Club Bar. This guy is not usually given to exaggeration. But, I find that hard to swallow. (Pardon the pun)

I understand that they raised their prices..but that does not seem reasonable. Perhaps it was a mistake or 2 beers.

Default $5 beer

Unfortunately, I have been known to pay that and more for a draft beer but not in TV and hope I never have to
Can't wait to get back down there

We were just at redsauce and paid $9.00 for a glass of Chianti. My wife asked about it and they said that was the only Chianti they had. Thought a italian place should have a house Chianti at a little more reasonable price.

In most pubs, bars etc here in England, you can expect to pay about $10 for a pint of beer or lager! A glass of Chardonay is about $14. So we find the prices in TV very reasonable.
And dont get me started on gasoline prices here in the UK !!!!

Yikes! $5 for a glass of beer!! $12 for a glass of wine?!?!? That sure is alot of moola!!!

But not to worry...as I lay in bed last night dreaming of living in TV as I do every night lol, I decided that on the hot days I will just stay inside with the AC and cook and invite all of y'all over to my house for brunch, lunch, dinner and/or parties!!

Okie sorry Host...back to the original post...sorry
