How about a special dispensation for well behaved 65 year olds? Please?

Buy a smaller home and tell the "kids" you don't have room for them!
Move here and leave them pesky kids to fend for themselves

Since most of my friends are between 55 and 66, and they are ALL well behaved, just like I am...... ..... I'm definitely in favor of upping the curfew for them to 1 am because I don't want to hang out by myself...

I imagine that the developers could have done it better.....but they sure could have done it a whole lot worse. Seemes to me that The Villages is a better mousetrap.

Now about those kids of under fifty.............
Well said, GG. I assume the developer has made a lot of money. I assumed that when I bought my house. But that was not in the equation. My concern was what the developer provided. I liked what I saw and the price was OK. I have never regretted it.

BTW, I had a neighbor here for seven years who was under forty and single.
I couldn't have asked for a better neighbor. The only time we knew he was there was when he cranked up his Harley and that was rarely.

I love having under 55 here. Invigorating and uplifting.
Several years ago, I drove through a Sun City which couldn't have had anyone under 55. I saw no joggers but numerous people with canes and wheelchairs, one country club, one golf course and everything else (grocers, etc.) was quite a distance to reach.
Of course, I am sure all the over 55 communities being built recently or currently are trying to copy the secret of our wonderful developers.
We've got it made in the shade!!!!!

OK - true confessions... I am not yet 55. Have never been arrested here (or elsewhere for that matter...) Did not have to get the under 55 waiver due to my cuter half being a few years older.

Gracie as you said and I have said before - the Schwartz/Morse family built a better mousetrap. A good quality home in a beautiful place, evening entertainment, lots of different choices for golf and other activities. What "hometown" of some 70,000 people has no crime?

Get real.

Todays paper under the police reports, 2 more Villagers arrested.
One was 20 and the other 38. The 38 year old was listed twice. No one else from TV listed in the paper.................
Buy a smaller home and tell them kids to stay up north!

Gracie - we all know you aren't nearly 55 in spirit - and that is what really counts....
