Default This ex Hawaiian says if you can afford it go Hawaii

Hawaii has a mean temp year around of 70 but it is expensive. Housing is a bit high and all food except veggies are flown in so pricy. If you like fish rice and veggies you are all set.
Golf at public courses is $50 to $60 on public courses and $100 to $200 on private and semi private open to the public. Us locals play for $15 dollars weekdays at the Ala Wai.

That said we are planning on trying the villages as a similar home in Hawaii will cost about 750 K. And family there has passed away. Plus they have income tax and sales tax. But you can check out rentals on **** for the big island or Maui if all you want is Jan Feb.

hope this is a Kokua,

Default Nice day?

When I lived in Delaware, 59 degrees in Jan would be a nice day. Does seem a little cool in FL.

We are sitting here in Michigan where the temp. is currently in the teens this morning. We haven't seen the sun in weeks and there are just bare trees and dirty snow for us to look at out our back deck. I'm sure when we move down to TV this will become a distant memory and we will eventually think that 59 is chilly in Dec. but can't wait to experience it.
