You should fight this extra fee which does not seem right. Current membership, which includes "Monthly Issues of the AAII Journal Mailed to Your Door" costs $49/yr. so I don't see how they can justify an additional fee if you truly have a lifetime membership.

There’s nothing to fight.

You bought a lifetime “membership”. You are not required to buy another membership.

They are requiring a $5 donation to a non profit.
You could chose to not make the $5 donation, and they chose to not send you the magazine. I think it’s a net win for them.
