Good point. I would go there but without my dog. I always liked to people watch. That was one of my favorite past times when I lived in Reno and was too young to gamble. Watching people interact with one another is quite fun and if you throw dogs in the mix too.

I will be concerned about the Health and Safety aspects.

Should the dogs tip the same percentage as humans?

Wow!
Well, at least when you cross Square 1 off your list, you'll have one less thing to hate.

We are here helping my wife's aged parents so they can stay in their Villages home. We do not live with them but nearby within their village. We are not retired. We don't care much for Florida, and we really don't like it here. But this is where we need to be right now. Should the time come that we are no longer needed here, we will sell our home and move on.

My cat would enjoy the patio at Square 1. She is very socialized around people, dogs don't bother her, and she likes red meat. Alive or dead.uploadfromtaptalk1400088161274-jpg

Wow. At first I wasn't sure what to think. Then I went back and read some of your other posts. Appears you really don't like much of anything whether it is Villages or something else like restaurants, stores, etc.

I know you say you hate it but you "have to" live here, but is a very recent post you specifically said you DON'T live in The Villages:

Just a note on Jim Hill. I don't suspect this will effect too many folks, but it's good to know...Mr. Hill DOES NOT service anybody who doesn't live in TV. I called him, and he was very polite, but told me he doesn't work outside the boundaries of TV. He suggested Window Genie out of Leesburg for me.

While this is confusing, I do feel sorry for you. I would dread living like this in a place I hate as much as you do.

So do you live here, like you said, or do you not live here, also like you said?

I am not interested in playing this out on this board in this thread. If you are seriously interested in an answer then send me a PM.

Default Doggie Dine

I disagree with not letting our voice be heard on the pet areas for dining. Some the customers will no longer be dining along side of you.

I am not interested in spending $10.00 + to eat beside of your dog!

If this is most profitable for the owners and stockholders of Square I then
this maybe a good decision for them and move forward... but without (us)

Cross another 6 people I know will not be there....! But you will pick up an extra eater if we count the dogs in. So there is money to be made..

There are a few posters on TOTV with an attitude but most are pretty informative when they post and very nice people to meet. I agree it's too bad that some cannot comment or give an opinion and be "civil" about it.

Reasonable people will disagree at times. I think Square 1 Burgers CEO did a great job with her article. We will try them out in the comfort of their air conditioning----staying away from the smoking on the outside patio.

Our last dog, Candy, would have been fine on the patio. However, our first dog, Jip, would be too protective and I wouldn't feel comfortable taking him. But he was a "watch dog" when I had to travel on the job so someday we could enjoy the lifestyle of TV.

I look forward to trying the food and a beverage at Square 1 Burgers & Bar.

I would much rather have dinner on the patio with people's dogs than surrounded by screaming grandchildren throwing food. (And the dogs are probably much more hygenic than the typical 2/3 year old).

Don't like dogs? Go elsewhere. It is, after all, a free country. Just quit trying to pretend you are all for freedom when you insist on everyone living with your definition of "freedom".
