I'm more interested (not really) why someone would post that they are crossing something off their list. If they cross it off their list, just do it and do it privately...........what's the point of the broadcast??

There have been several Threads regarding dogs and restaurants. See post #13 for a list provided by Bogie Shooter.

Its pretty obvious that many residents of TV love their dogs and want to take them with them wherever they go including the Squares and some to the restaurant. Others love their dog and prefer to leave them at home.

What makes Square 1 Burger's proposal different from all other restaurants in TV is you could take your dog and they propose to offer a menu for dogs at their outside patio. In others words, you will be able to not only eat a meal your dog can too. This is very different now that the dog will be eating on the patio too.

I have observed that a dog can and sometimes does becomes very aggressive around what is their food. Get too close to their food and some will snap or bite you thinking someone might be taking their food. My own dog didn't even like me "messing" with his food after I had given it to him.

We rarely eat on the restaurant patio because of the smoke. A dog eating on the patio sounds to me like an accident ready to happen. I hope a Server isn't hurt.

dog friendly on the patio!!!

A non event in most civilized countries of the world......AND for the most part here too.

I am sure Square One's experience in their other locations are a testament to the practice NOT affecting their business.....why else would they do so here.....because for the most part it will be a non event and for some even a +!
