we didn't like Century Link. I thought they were very expensive for what we got.....I think this is a very personal choice....somebody likes one of them better than the other...Verizon doesn't offer TV.

I have Comcast for television and internet. I have had no problems. I also had them when I lived up north for about 15 years.

I have Verizon for our cell phone service. I liked them a lot in Massachusetts, but they are just fair in Florida. I did have an issue with switching over but that was due to one idiot employee, not company policy.

If you are south CR 472 comcast with prism tv and high speed internet is worth pursuing.

I had it in my first home and then we moved. The new fiber with prismtv/ high speed internet is not available at my new house. the new internet server is m-u-c-h s-l-o-w-e-r.

What about Brighthouse? I've seen good things about them on TOTV. I know they have cable but I don't know if they have a package. I am renting out my TV home so I don't have any personal eperience on companies yet!

We may not be good judges yet as we have only been here two weeks (glorious weeks I may add). We chose Brighthouse because of the price and haven't been sorry yet. We both work on our computers during the day and have not had any internet concerns. I would recommend you at least talking to them.

It's Centurylink that has Prism TV, not Comcast.

I've had both Comcast and Centurylink here in TV. I think that CL's customer service is a hundred times better than Comcast. I've spent up to an hour on hold waiting for Comcast customer service ... you can get through to CL customer service almost immediately, and they schedule appointments within 24 hours ... usually the same day.

Brighthouse is only south of 466A. We have Comcast, they've been OK.
I keep thinking I want to switch to CenturyLink but then I keep hearing that they're not any better.

Default Comcast

We purchased a home last fall and we chose Comcast. We have Time Warner in upstate NY and are spoiled with the On Demand feature that Comcast also provides.

We won't be down until Monday, but DW went with CenturyLink. We will be in Rio Grande and Brighthouse isn't there yet. DW was told CL has fiber optics and we will be pleased with its picture quality. Will let you know what I think after seeing it next week.

My husband was very happy to see the Brighthouse utilitiy box at the back of our lot in Sanibel. We called and got Brighthouse installed immediately. We had it in Hunters Creek, and we really like channel 13...you can get "local" news all the time and weather.
