That is an excellent point. Tell people nicely they are not obeying the rules. If they still do not follow the rules, then be nasty about it.

I don't like it. I like it here a lot. I don't think any of us know what ALL of the Morses are thinking and whether or not they care about us or not. I am satisfied, more than satisfied with what I see. Yesterday along the cart path on 466, from our village to Laurel Manor, I saw old plants dug out and new ones placed where the old ones had over grown. I saw a leaning tree had been dug out and the sod replaced so that you could barely tell where it was. I saw the black fence at the circle freshly painted.
Remember that those that believe the Developer doesn't give a rip believe it only because they want it different and feel it should have been done their way, those that complain on here (and those that are positive on here) are a minority of the total population. We have evolved into a sound bite society where we want others to speak for us without doing due diligence and for a large part, love to jump on bandwagons because of it.

No, you don't have to be nasty. There is a phone at ever pool. Call Community Watch and ask to have a Rec. person sent over. Or go to the Rec Center and voice your concern.

You do see a lot of new homes being built without the amenities. In the early days, I was told, they built the Squares first then the houses. Complete opposite now.

When moving into an area, it is difficult to research EVERYTHING. If it is common throughout TV to have an adult pool in every neighborhood, why would one think they would deviate from that? We should all have comparable amenities regardless of which area we live in.
Wouldn't that be true, depending on which house they live in?

Awesome! More work for the musicians and singers who entertain at the squares. We really enjoy that live music.

Wasn't there a country club that was demolished in Spanish Springs? Isn't that the location where the apartments are going to be built? I'm only asking because I have read about that on this forum. Are the apartments not going to be built? I think apartments in that location are only going to increase the traffic on Morse Blvd north of 466. No???

During the time that the entertainment was on hold.....none. But....since the entertainment has started again, still during this pandemic, we sit in our golf cart.

The very first time we actually sat in chairs in LSL square was last evening. YAY!!!! We listened to a great band and the weather was just gorgeous. The band was the Never Never Band. It was great fun. What I also love about the squares is you can stroll around with an adult beverage in hand, much like walking around New Orleans. We enjoy people watching too.

So you mistakenly stated that you were there listening to live music last year when the squares were closed???

I don't believe that is what I said. I said we have gone to the squares to listen to live music during the pandemic and stay in our cart. We did do that and we did do that last year when the entertainment started up again. I'm not quite sure what you are questioning.

I will say that when the squares were not having live bands hubby and I went to Edna's on the Green down south and saw Johnny Wild with the Delights. It was great to see live music and was good to know those groups were getting work. It was only a trio but it was still great to see them.

Just thinking back......I know the squares had live music in 2020 because they had Christmas tree lighting ceremonies. That is when the capacity was limited and had the temporary fences to keep the crowds limited.

Spanish Springs is a town square, they are not "building" a apartment building in Spanish Springs, they are planning to remodel existing buildings including part of Katie Belles to convert them into apartments, huge difference.

I always thought that area adjacent to the Spanish Springs town square is referred to as "Spanish Springs" too. Those villages located heading north along Morse Blvd as you approach 441 are not considered "Spanish Springs"? If not, that is what I meant, sorry. What is planned to be built on the land where the country club was demolished in that area?
