By the rules, no you can't.

Most pools and most Villagers would not care.

But as you can see................the minority might care and call the Pool Police.

Hate to have you and a three month old in The Villages violation jail.

Only if she is an exceptionally mature 3 month old, like in 29 years and 9 months from now

Sounds like someone who doesn't want to listen to the noise of other's children.

You know instead of jumping all over the OP it might make sense to understand their question. While I agree with those who have answered "no" and explained the under 30 vs 30+ separation, the OP is asking whether the age restriction is for those actually in the water. Pool could be understood to mean in the pool. Using the pool means swimming, floating... And looking at the language the age prohibition seems to say pool not pool deck or pool area. I believe it is meant to be inclusive of everything inside the gate but it is not clearly stated. Thus the OP asking, is it ok to be at an adult pool as long as the child is not in the water is a reasonable question. And I appreciate them asking and do not see it as trying to weasel around some regulation but rather as asking for clarification of a regulation that could be interpreted either way.

There should be a lot more adult pools and less family ones.

OP, I suggest you contact or stop by a regional rec center and ask the question. The rules are clear that you have to be 30+ to go IN the pool, and they are also clear that you cannot have pets in the pool AREA, with no such stipulation on the under 30's. But every village has both types of pools, so there is a place for everyone. And while the printed rules do not cover every possible scenario, the intent seems to be (at least to me) 1 pool for families to get together, and 1 pool for adults to kick back and relax.

Posing that question here leads to opposing opinions and accusations of "rules only apply to others, cranky people, child haters, etc.".

I'm sure there are residents that have not seen their grandchildren or children in a long time for a variety of reasons (some tragic), and use the adult pool to avoid the reminder.

This is seriously splitting hairs. I can not imagine anyone asking if it is OK for someone under the age of 30 to sit in a pool chair and not go in the water.

Default Adult pool?

If you live in Marsh Bend that is not an issue as there is NO adult pool. TV did not build one for the village; only a sports (with no where to sit and enjoy your neighbors) and a family pool.

Definition of “adult” per Siri:
“Fully grown or developed “.
How can this be misunderstood!?

I’d wander down to the adult pool you were thinking of and see if there are other people there at all. I know the closest adult pool to me is often empty, with no other people to bother.

Though adult pools are often at neighborhood mail stations all neighborhoods do not have a pool.

No one wants to listen to a child crying! That being said, TV do not care. Go for it. What is the worst they can do? Ask you to leave...
