It seems like they don’t really care about the residents, their only concern is Building and Selling Homes.
Where are the AED's located? Been here a year and have never seen one. In the DeLuna area.

For the neighborhoods, they will only exist if the residents gathered the money to purchase and install them. Some have, many have not.

At the Rec centers they will probably be easily seen but in any case the employees will know.

Drive around your village. If you can’t find one then maybe your village hasn’t had anyone step forward to coordinate the program. If interested contact VPSD. They have a designated person who helps walk you through the process from identifying where AED’s should go. How to complete the funding. Ordering the equipment and training of the volunteer responders.

LOOK AROUND YOU ! YOU’RE GETTING A BIG BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. THIS PLACE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT THE WAY THEY KEEP IT UP. PROUD TO LIVE HERE & paying out for AED’s is definitely no problem for MOST of us.. But than again everyone has a right to their own opinion..

Default AED Locations

First of all, there are a lot of AEDs around TV. (image should now be attached) We even have a guy at the Squares that walks around with them during the entertainment every night !

The Pulse Point app will show you where many of them are located, has written details and even pictures of the AEDs.

Anyone that reads this should load Pulse Point AED app to their phone - you never know when you'll be able to save a life. Pulse Point AED works anyway on our Planet !

With Sudden Cardiac Arrest every minute counts !!

They are housed in a white box on a white pole, typically near the street, between two houses...

You may have seen them, but might not have known what they are...

Or, your neighborhood might not have purchased them...

In some villages, they are in private homes. In others, they are on short (3 or 4 feet) poles, with a box on the top.
As mentioned, some villages don’t have the program, it’s resident run.

A study was done….
The Villages residents are four times more likely than other Americans to survive a cardiac event.

the AED program is part of it, the proximity of fire department is another.

Often too late to be useful. You lose 10% chance of survival with every minute. The average 12 minute response time for paramedics leaves you dead for 2 minutes by the time they arrive.

Did your old neighborhood "back home"have a AED on every corner?
Probably not.
The builder builds homes and provides us a wonderful community. They are not a rich uncle who buys us candy every time we go to the corner store. This can be a huge liability exposure for a large corporation.
Your neighbors spent their own money to provide this service. I trust you will never be in need of one.

Default Newer Neighborhood

Get into a newer neighborhood with a younger demographic and the community has a neighborhood Facebook link. It gives you much better odds of having AEDs installed around the neighborhood with much less effort.

What would you consider to be a "newer" neighborhood?

When a player past out on the pb courts a while back, the Rec. Director came running over w an AED. I’m thinking that all the Rec. Ctrs. Have one.

My village (neighborhood) started in 2002…..and we have AED’s,
I have no idea what you last sentence means or what you are trying to say?
For that matter I wonder about the first sentence as well.
