Order quick[/QUOTE]
You may want to edit your post to remove the brokenangelshop.com website. There are a lot of complaints on the internet about this company. Some customers have said that they will charge your credit card, but not deliver the product. Also, they do not respond when you contact them.

I've done the best I could to delete posts and alert users about potential problems with that vendor. If all posts aren't read, then buyer beware I guess.

Default Batteries?

Has anyone encountered a similar problem and found a solution? Thanks.
Are you talking about the exterior wall switch? Mine acted the same way when it needed batteries (i.e. lit up but wouldn’t work).

I think he is referring to the interior wall console. It is hard wired from the console to the garage door motor. No batteries.

I wouldn't worry about it. It is buyer beware and they can still get to the site from retiredguy123's quote of your post. He may want to consider deleting link in post 31.

I did it, but it should be pretty clear that you don't want to order from this vender. Buyer beware.

Caution! These openers installed with an outside keypad have a standard contractors code for easy opening. I stumbled on this while changing the codes on a used home. Mine had not been removed meaning anyone knowing the code can open the door with the keypad or properly programed portable opener. See your manual for the code and how to delete or change it. Needless to say it upset me.

Yes, buyers should be informed to clear out all the stored codes

Try pressing the button from a different angle/side. Always pressing in same spot (everyone does) wears in that area of pad.

This has worked for us the last 2 years or so.

Good luck trying to find a new unit. And if you do, they will rape you for it. Normally a 20 dollar part.

Sometimes you just need to let the technician do the job you called them to do.
Quite frankly if it were me I would gladly entertain you with conversation and bill you my hourly loaded labor charge.

Anyone in the villages know of a smart garage door system that will work with the MVP garage door opener? We are looking for one that has an app that will allow you to open/shut garage door from a remote site. Thanks in advance.

It looks like this product is compatible with most Linear controllers, which is the company that bought MVP.

Amazon.com

Check the compatibility document that can be downloaded from the Amazon website.

I have the Meross MSG100. $20+. Works fine.

Installation is fairly easy. I used spare conductors in the existing cabling so no new wires across the ceiling.

It may be helpful to think about the rest of your home automation (present & future) and choose a compatible brand. Good luck.
