Default American flags

There is flag etiquette regarding torn and faded or dirty flags. If your flag is dirty, most cleaners will launder it at no charge. If it is time to replace it, you can order one(choice of sizes, material) from our Representative in Congress Ginny Brown-Waite. Just Google her name and follow directions for ordering. These flags are top quality American-made and areVERY reasonably priced...cheaper than any store.

Default Re: Disposing of your American Flag

There are "proper procedures" for displaying the American Flag. There is also a proper way to "dispose" of your American Flag if it is no longer useable. I believe it is the Local VA groups that will "dispose" of the flag properly for you.

Just took several weathered flags to the American Legion off 466. The keep a container just inside the front door for that purpose. When the get quite a few flags they have a ceremony and destroy them with dignity.
