I wouldn't want the pain........I'd just jump in front of an 18 wheeler on I75 if I was so inclined.

iMO It seems that there are a lot of things readily
available that a person could use to commit suicide.
Autos, bridges, lakes, rivers, tall buildings,
trains, traffic, rope etc, etc.

Hunting, target shooting, collecting, are some
other reasons besides personal protection for gun purchases.

People that are drunk, quite often kill themselves
and others while under the influence,
and a gun isn't even in the equation.

Prescribed drugs, assisted suicide, etc. You are quite correct Fredster. We could go on and on.

Ohh! I've seen the outcome. I wish people would think of their surviving friends and family before they commit suicide. By itself, suicide is terrible. Add a terrible method to a terrible event and you can doubly traumatize a family for life.

I see your point. Suicide is sometimes an impulsive act.

How does an inanimate object "make" a person do something? That's like saying a car capable of going 100 mph "makes" people speed. Maybe you should place the blame on the alcohol. Of course, the alcohol didn't "make" him drink it. But it did make him drunk.
