There is nothing like floating in your own pool at night and looking at the stars. The privacy and quiet are priceless.

Hello… your post regarding Wiseman Pools could have been written by us. Very similar experience, signed contract in November 2020, hole dug in April 2021, but we still don’t even have the pool ready for water!! Like you, our salesman has been the biggest help in getting any information. He will, at least call or text us back. A frustrating experience, to say the least!

T&D has all of their own workers - they don't need to subcontract. Yes, they build pretty quick once they start, but their current start dates are way out right now. Just getting a quote is scheduled many months out. They were also the highest priced by far when I got my quotes from 6 pool builders. The eventual company I went with was $30K less for better equipment, a higher grade interior, and pavers instead of concrete (pavers added another $5k to the T&D bill).

They gave me an estimate the same day they stopped by (3 days after I called them), started work 2 months later, and finished in 10 weeks from start of dig (14 weeks from permit approval). The end result has been fantastic, and customer service after completion has been exemplary.

Two pool companies to highly consider that have excellent reviews, and a proven track record are Premier Pools of Central Florida (out of Winter Park - there are several Premier Pools, none are affiliated) and Waterman Construction out of Umatilla.

They provided the best quotes out of 6 pool builders for me, and really knew what they were doing.

I know everyone thinks T&D is/was the way to go, but as mentioned, they were, and still are months out from even coming out for a consultation and they are probably the most expensive. They also have their issues. The good thing about them is that when they finally start, a crew is there every day until finished. Our neighbor across the street went with T&D. They put the shovel in the ground in late October 2021 and had their pool AND room addition done in March.

Another neighbor called them for a consult last Fall, and they won’t even be out until this November, but at least their property won’t be all jacked up for months on end.

We went with Wiseman based on a recommendation from a neighbor for whom they built a beautiful back yard oasis in 2019. Covid really smacked Wiseman upside the head, and I hope they can right their ship, because they do build a beautiful product.

On a side note, someone from the company saw my post and just in these last couple days almost every outstanding issue has been dealt with. It’s a shame that I had to play “bad cop”, but it got results.
