I think the sentence in OP stating ".... Did you buy any food...."

was meant to state "....we did not buy any food for our house...."

And then he went on to talk about a good restaurant....we all need to read the intent of a posting, not the verbatim typing....

We’re right behind ya, another week in the bubble then back up north until the fall. A bunch of weddings this summer to attend (pandemic delayed and all happening this summer), the annual trips to the shore at various New a England states, some excellent outdoors concerts, and lots of swimming and fishing at the lake house are awaiting. Will miss the Villages, but it’s great to know there won’t be a cold snowy winter in our future: )
