Question Any one know what happened?

Emergency vehicles speeding along Odell Ciecle towards Morse Blvd. about
8:30.
Helicopter circled then landed in vicinity of Colony Rec Center. Just took off and headed south.

Hope if it was an accident say a prayer that no one was seriously hurt.

Whalen... I remember someone posting on TOTV about being able to access emergency call info on the web. Here's what was posted for 20:50 tonight:

THE VILLAGES - 800 TRS PS 2) UNITS ON SCENE FALL PATIENT REQUEST AIR SUPPORT AEROMED RESPONDING ENGINE COMPANY 51 LANDING ZONE [FLA074]

Sounds like someone fell???

Thumbs up

Thanks 07, that's an interesting site.

I will say that if it was a fall the response was incredible.

Thanks to all our emergency personel.

The Fire Dept uses the field between Walgreen's and the Colony Rec Center sports pool as a landing zone for helicopter evacs in the southern area of TV. The patient is brought to the landing site for transfer to the medical helicopter, that is much safer than trying to land them on a street somewhere.

I did see a wreck on Buena Vista that had as much damage to the vehicles than I have ever seen here.
