ParseError: syntax error, unexpected 'signature' (T_STRING), expecting ']' in ..../includes/class_postbit.php(304) : eval()'d code on line 217



Notice active recent posts are gone also?

Check your bank accounts? Assuming you mean an error on this site? If so, maybe delete your cookies and reboot da computer and try again?

I can get to main page listing. However when opening any thread that error pops up.
I am sending from my iPhone a……… iPad also works…. The problem exists only with laptop

This reply is from my laptop.
I cleared the cache and cookies on my Firefox browser.
Seems OK now.

I get it when using the older version of the forum. No problem with the new version.

I got that error on my iphone Safari browser but not on my laptop. Restarting my iphone did not resolve the issue. Had to clear cache and history to get rid of the error.

tried using laptop and Iphone same result .. I can open threads using new version (which I hate) but when I revert to old version I get syntax error ... and yes I did clear history/cache .. same result.. I even tried a different browser

yes. i get it frequently. idk what it is, or what it means. i also get the error 404 msg on occasion.

you would think that the administrator would post that they realize we are having a problem and whether there is a solution... I also sent several messages to admin, and NEVER received a response

I use the old platform most and now with resent posts block missing and can’t open posts I lose interest fast? Which might be good thing

I agree completely. Recent posts was a really useful feature but it seems like a lot of times people who do the software don't have to use the product. See it all the time in lots of places.

I really think the admin is trying to push us, the dinosaurs still using the old version, into the new one. At that point I will have to quit the site because I really do not like the new version.
