I suppose this will be the first time some people will not be with their family this Christmas. Are you among them?

I have 2 grown sons and 1 grandson. My oldest is an Army physician (and has a wife and 1 child). My youngest is in Long Island with his wife. We have internet, cell phones and web-cam. That works for us.

In our neighborhood, no one spends a holiday alone unless they specifically want to. Thanksgiving was a bring a dish dinner at my house for 23. Christmas eve is being covered by some else as well as Christmas day, new year's eve and new year's day. We all believe that we are a new family here and have to look out for each other!

Default Not alone

Wife & I only here a short while, oldest daughter & son in law arriving today from Upstate NY. All the neighbors have extended invites for CHRISTMAS & New Years. Your so right these are our new family and anytime we can get together is a great time. To all my current and future friends in TV on behalf of my wife JoAnn & myself we'd like to wish all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS & a Happy & Healthy NEW YEAR.
