So I found a whip or will in construction phase yesterday and one wall was exposed with wiring. (The concrete side with the hollow wall)
The wires from the receptacle go up a metal stud to the ceiling.

So I assumed the receptacle in the full concrete wall did the same and verified it by looking up in the attic.

I got two cabinets installed on the solid concrete wall with no problem

I am Leary of installing some slat wall tracks on the hollow garage wall. These walls seem so flimsy I wonder if they will even hold like broom or ladders.

Any one suggest a good Drywall anchor to use besides those plastic inserts?

These are the best thing out there. If pulled hard enough, they will rip down the wall before they break. They are much stronger than the wall. Needs a little space behind the drywall for the flat part to fold open. Then the plastic front part locks the entire thing together so the screw can be removed without the anchor falling away. I think Lowes has them.

These things are great, there are several brands as you might expect. The ones currently found in home depot and lowes have a single 'zip tie' and its kind of brittle. I've used another brand with 2 'zip ties' that were very durable and flexible, I much preferred the one w/2 zip ties.
