realtor explained that the area behind this home was maintained by the homeowners on that street. she seemed to know her stuff, but I would check this out with the listing agent for sure first. Great house though with the pool and waterfall sounds.

It took us 2 years of researching and we knew that we wanted in the lady lake section of the villages because we knew that we needed a mortgage and couldn't afford that and a bond. We were lucky that when we put our house up for sale we sold in 4 months not for when we wanted but close enough since the market took a nose dive. We like this section for the mature trees and lots of open fields around us not just a golf course view. We arrived in the villages on a Thursday found a house on Friday and bought it. You will have no trouble finding a place. After our research we knew what model of house, price we wanted to pay and the area we wanted to live in so that made it a lot easier. Good luck and hope to see you soon. We had a villages sales rep and a private realtor.
Hopefully sooner rather than later..........it's been snowing, sleeting, raining and snowing again..............now big chunks of "frozen snow cone" is falling off of our roof due to the "ice glides" or metal sections....really strange. Big hunks of snowy ice. All this after a "tease" of a warm spell.

Our back lawn is covered with snow cone icy snow.........ditto for the driveway, etc. Just told my husband not to break a leg or hip going "downhill" to get our mail at the road............so yes, TV is seeming better and better. Thanks again for your help.

We left Michigan so I know what you are going through. It's been 2 years of no snow and we don't miss it. Love living in the villages you won't regret the move. Right now it is warm and muggy hoping it will rain. Just keep researching and things will work out. The open field behind us is being mowed by some company not the homeowners where we live at. I heard that it was supposed to be a trailer park years ago but the city of lady lake doesn't want it now. When I search it on zillow it shows the plots for the park but the villages built a house at the end of our street thus cutting off one of the entrances to this piece of land. I don't know if the villages own some of the land not because it goes from the family pool to 466.
