Default Anyone have a suggestion?

Just purchsed new house and found out we couldn't upgrade/change appliances to another color even though willing to pay differnce through TV (really surprised about this). Does anyone know of a local appliance store that will "buy" these new appliances for a fair and acceptable price if one is buying all new applicances from them?

If you cant sell them yourself donate them to Habitat for Humanity and take the price of the appliances off your taxes next year.

We had our house built last year and had to select one of the appliance packages, none of which exactly suited our needs. The sales rep gave us the name of the appliance subcontractor, who dealt with us very fairly on our unused appliances. The operative word is unused, so for a short time we just lived out of an ice chest and used the microwave until the switch could be made: refrigerator, range, dishwasher.

Our home had appliances installed by Del Air and they were very good about exchanging them. (In fact we've done this twice.) As stated before, they have to be unused. I have heard some of the other appliance installers are not willing to do this - good luck.
