That building wasn’t there…it was built for that restaurant.

Speaking of help. It's been months since Lowe's has had two cashiers in the garden department, I assume a staffing issue not just Lowe's being cheap. So the question is if Lowe's can't get one cashier how is the new Home Depot and the new Target going up in the same area going to get staff?

I know this was Atlanta Ga., but I haven't found a lot of price difference between there and here especially in the "chain" resturants. For me this is too pricey for breakfast.
At Cracker Barrel, you can get two eggs with your choice of Breakfast Side, plus choice of Bacon or Sausage and Biscuits n' Gravy for $9.99.

While driving through Brownwood early yesterday, I noticed a large crane poised over the Cafe. Looks like they may be loading in some heavy equipment through the roof.

Be patient folks - it’s getting close - living in Richmond, I am looking forward to the opening. Right now, I am frequenting Revillie and Flying Biscuit both weekly for breakfast. I eat out breakfast almost daily, so this will be a great addition to my daily breakfast rotation.

Maybe the price of eggs is causing the delay.

Agree no way well pay $22 per person for breakfast. Just returned from Ct, breakfast at 24 hr diner 3 eggs, grilled home fries, 6 pieces of bacon, toast and unlimited coffee $12. If I want fried potatoes i would order French Fries.

I think you hit the reason ! Hobby Lobby, big corporation, also seems to be going at snail's pace, much different than when B.J.'s went up.. .has to be labor problems, you are right !

And yes, certainly $22 each plus tip is out of range for many. We first found ABE on a trip to Charleston many years ago. Friends absolutely made us promise we WOULD go. We "almost" didn't, but it was right down in old part of time by the big markets, etc. so we went for brunch/lunch. Absolutely (to use) over the moon awesome, never had anything close except on trips to NOLA. NOT your average breakfast cafe. We had FRESH crab meat omelets, nearly a whole fresh avocado on top, authentic New Orleans beignets, exceptional coffee (not left on a warmer to get bitter), and so on. Cheap meal, no way, worth it, OH SO MUCH. Now that it has become a chain restaurant, I have noticed it is nothing like we experienced in Charleston. We eat there about every couple months (winter park village) when we make our Whole foods, Costco, Trader Joe's runs all in the same day. Food is still above average, but... definitely NOT the same as it once was. Will "hope" (lol, probably foolish "hope") the villages location will have outstanding food very worth the price, but .... kind of thinking, probably not !

Yes, if you want to eat it with a glass of water. But, if you want a cup of coffee, it will cost you another 3 dollars per person plus tip.

Exactly my sentiments above. Denny's, IH, etc. etc. are relatively inexpensive (nothing cheap these days...LOL!) but, nothing like Another Broken Egg, which was a New Orleans like experience. But, noticed now that it is a chain, prices even higher and the exquisite quality of their ingredients when they were not a large chain, and definitely deteriorated !
