Along those lines:

The tire must have a rounded vertical tread with a maximum depth of ¼ inch. The total width must be a minimum of 8 inches. The tire pressure must not exceed 28 psi. Golf cars that do not have the approved tires will not be allowed on any of the Championship Courses in The Villages.
Reference: Golf The Villages

I wonder if any of these "stupid cars" meet this requirement

At least our gas powered carts don’t have a tendency to catch fire and burn a house down like your battery powered carts.

. . . . Now you've done it!
Those with battery-powered carts will not be able to sleep at night thinking about if their golf cart is on fire in the garage.

. . It's 2 AM. . . . I smell smoke.

You do not have to charge the atomic in a garage. Just go to a charging station. Most Walmarts have them and it only takes minutes for a full charge. The only reason electric charging stations are not in the Villages is because the owners wish to continue the sale of gas-powered carts. If they would place electric charging stations along with the gas, people would have more options. An easy fix that is not going to happen in the foreseeable future. Just a monopoly to get you to buy what they want to sell.

Not anything to brag about, pro gas, pro electric, doesn't matter. The Golf Cart Store owners are in charge. We do not have a real choice.

It's not doors that bother me golfing, it's the morons that have music playing in their cart while your golfing. Not everyone loves your musical taste.

It’s too bad the Villages golf Carts don’t sell electric golf carts.

Not certain if that was sarcasm. If they would place electric charging stations beside the gas pumps, you would have more options. Our only choice is buy gas or run the fear of running out of electric charge. Only choice!

If there were electric charging stations right beside where one fills the cart with gas, it would not be a concern. Electric or gas everyone could easily fill up.

Adding the electric charging is not that big of a deal. They just don't want to do it. For what reason? Being in sales all my life, I'm guessing they would rather sell gas carts that can easily be shipped from Georgia with the benefit of "no competition" dealer agreement. Shipping electric cars in from China is more costly and quickly widens the chance of outside competition.

Personally, if I were selling carts, I would push gas. Not because they are actually a better cart, just better for me. I can easily replace the one you bought quickly just by calling Georgia. A cart made in China would take weeks to restock.
Either way, bragging you bought gas or electric is silly. They both have their limitations.

There are no dedicated charging stations for golf carts at Walmart or anywhere else in TV that I know. Any regular 120v outlet will do. But it will take more than a few minutes. Few hours.
And for the fire hazard concerns, last fires I have seen and read about in TV were gas powered carts and cars. I have a Tesla and two lithium powered EZGOs. They normally charge at night in the garage and I sleep just fine.
