Before I moved down here, I got rid of all my business suits/dresses/slacks/shoes, and I now have a funeral outfit (blouse and black dress pants) and a wedding outfit (nice dress). Everything else I have is suitable for golf.

In The Villages you can usually tell a newbie by her longer hair and high heels and her male companion by his loafers with no socks. A true Villager wears shorts almost all of the time except for December and January when they wear warm stuff and jackets and sweaters and shoes that cover their toes.

There have sadly been no gatherings for celebration of life when a person passes during this Pandemic that I know of. Families are delaying these ceremonies until it is no longer dangerous to gather, even for this very supportive and caring event.
🤔 Are you saying that there’s something about TV that results in women getting their hair cut shorter and then they’re Considered to be a true villager? Interesting indeed, but strange.

Had to look up the definition of a pedal pusher. I think most will call them capris these days.

Yes there is something to make women cut their hair. It is called the golf cart. It blows your hair and shorter is easier. Nice smack on the old lady using the words " pedal pushers." Capri is right but legging is trendier.
