Default Back from our Lifestyle Visit

We came, we saw, we bought!

My apologies to everybody. You know who you are! I said I would call you while we were in the Villages, but the hours and days just got away from us. One day just blurred into another, and the next thing I knew we were at the Orlando airport on the way back to Utah.

We'll have a chance to get together after we finally arrive for real. Thanks to everybody for your kindness and generosity. :-*

uujudy,
me too. I came, I saw, I bought this past spring. Didn't know I was going to do that. Now can't wait to get there. Of course, I need to retire first. Sept 26 - 6 weeks and counting. Whew!!!! I'm mostly a lurker on this website, but feel I almost know so many people already. Now I just have to sell up here in the Northeast. If not, then plan B - rent out my house up here in the Northeast. One way or another. EEE Gads

That's great - congratulations - sounds like you are excited and ready to go. We've been back from our Lifestyle Preview for only 9 days now, and it seems like a month. We came, we saw, we loved, but it will be a long time and a lot of thought before we buy! I am probably the most conservative person I know, and need lots of time and research before I make that kind of a lifestyle decision. And even after the time and research, I'll still probably have some buyer's remorse. But anyway, I'm jealous of you and hope it all works out. Above all, I know for certain that TV is a great place, and that almost anyone can find good reasons to buy. I just need some time and maybe a push from my significant other . . .

Someone else said they were conservative but I hold on so tight to a dime it screams. BUT we came, we saw, we bought and yes I had three days of omigosh omigosh omigosh what did we do and THEN since April we have been on cloud nine. We have spent a total of 19 or 20 days in our new house in Hadley getting it ready and furnishing it...........Now we are waiting to live and to play in November.

Here is a big hug. Welcome to Paradise!!

Hey, that's wonderful! Congratulations!!! We don't know anything about Lifestyle Previews (never took one); in fact, the first and only time we took the trolley tour was when friends were visiting and they wanted to take it, so we joined them. We just came, I experienced the lightning bolt in my head with its accompanying message ('This IS the rainy day!'), and following a ton of research we bought a marvelous resale only weeks later. Never looked back! You will not be disappointed, uujudy!

Congratulations & Welcome. The skiing is a little better at Deer Valley but The Villages can't be beaten! Get down here before the snow flies.
