Default plumbing ?

Electric water heaters have sacrificial anodes

Has any ever had one replaced one in TV?

How did the plumber get the old one out & install a new one when the water heater is installed in a closet in the garage with minimum overhead clearance?

You can get collapsible anode rods but wouldn't the original rod installed at the factory be one piece? If it's one piece, how would the plumber remove it?

Simply install a drywall ceiling access panel.
