I don't even want a tub in the master bathroom! We had a beautiful garden tub in our house in Orlando, but for 11 years all I did was vacuum out the dust periodically. The 2 times I did use it, I had trouble getting out AND then I had to scrub the darn thing! It was huge....

If someone is taking a poll, we replaced the 2nd bath's bathtub with walk in shower. The master bath already had one. We have the Amarillo model.

Default I'm on dust patrol also with tubs!

We have a 3 bath and master has walk-in shower also, thank goodness!....Interesting post about walk-in tub, always wondered if you would be "pruned" waiting for tub to fill and empty!....Ha!

Yeah, well ...

I do love the new shower in the master, and the guest bath is really calling to me. Interesting how many people much prefer a shower to a tub. I probably should have asked if having no tub at all would be a negative.

Our realtor in Utah said that a bathroom with only a shower doesn't really count as a full bath; it's a 3/4 bath. She said you need a tub for it to count as a full bath. Maybe it's different in Florida?
