My son's father-in-law in Virginia has a band that plays locally in Richmond VA. I asked him if they play any Beach Boys songs and he said the vocals in those songs are much too complex for his band to play.

I listened to their songs more closely and even a non-musician like me can tell they are complex, kind of like the Mammas and Poppas.

Maybe you can find a Disc Jockey to play the songs you like. There sure was a lot of great music in that era.

Stream either Amazon music or Apple Music and play through descent stereo. I have all their music converted to mp3 also Jimmy Buffet, Jan&Dean unfortunately I’m out of state I’d give you a copy.
