Last evening in a church filled with 2000 people, we heard 140 folks, average age 72, sing together, under the direction of a new director, very skilled, with all kinds of letters after his name.

The crowd wiped tears from their eyes on several occasions, and could not keep their feet from tapping or their shoulders from moving on several others.

Sweetie, Helene and I held hands in the darkened auditorium as Joshua fit the battle of Jericho and June was busting out all over and enjoyed "a real nice clambake".

And sat hushed and overwhelmed at the sound of the soprano who sang in front of that lovely chorale about Sweet Chariots and closed the evening.

The Village Voices continue. Beautifully.

Thank you Dr. Sandra Willetts for all you've done and thank you Dr. Lowe for continuing the most beautiful music I have ever heard.

If you have not heard them, there will be a Christmas concert in December. Tickets available at the box office, but don't take the last three.

Just enjoyed two weeks of watching the hand of the Almighty touch the trees of Western Maine and Eastern New Hampshire turning their foliage the most beautiful yellows, golds, reds and oranges. It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful some things can be as they prepare to die. Looking forward to returning and watching them all waken anew.

I believe what you are referring to is the touch that nature does everywhere in one form or another,
when we go from the heat of summer into the coolness of the fall season.

Yes, the almighty Mother Nature is spectacular.

Oh my, this was beautifully written. After Gracie Girl's of music and fellowship...this thread has made my night.
