Take a picture of the emerald pendant, and bring it to Bob's Coin and Jewelery on 441 opposite Wal-Mart. They are great to do business with. They will do their best to accommodate you.

Here’s a tip for when you can’t read the fine print. Take a photo of it on your smartphone and then stretch the print. Works better than a magnifier.

Agreed. I don't comprehend jewelry. But, I'm glad it makes others happy.

Cant do it, slapped a stack of sales slips on the counter and said she would have to look through them to find the number of the pendant I bought. Another clerk came over and said she would look in the EFFE book
to find a copy. After many sighs and eye rolls they found the item.
Now could not find any earrings anywhere near a match and the only ones were $2,000.
All in all a terrible experience, and last time I will buy anything there.
Have you contacted an attorney?

If one bad experience stops you from shopping someplace, you are going to run out of vendors even on line there are problems. I recommend you ask to speak with the manager rather than write about it here. The manager can do something about it and see that the staff gets better training in customer service.

I assume that includes your $400 wedding ring...

About 3 doors down from Belk is Jewelry Design. They have been serving The Villages for 24 years. Everyone who works there is helpful, polite and kind. A wonderful family owned business. They keep accurate records and always stand behind what they sell...they never charge for cleaning and checking the setting even on Jewelry you didn't buy from them!!!!
