Katie Stradinger - 352-267-2090. She is a VLS agent who tirelessly sent us PDF's of homes we were interested in and answered many questions between our first visit in late March and our lifestyle visit in late June. We were sold on a Laurel Oak and she knew we were going to buy it, but still wanted us to look at one more that she thought we would like even better with the view I wanted and the kitchen my wife wanted. The only catch was it wouldn't come on the market until 5pm that day. It was perfect for us, and she got it ahead of two others who were right behind us. My wife and I were and are thrilled. It was the same price as the one we were going to buy, so she didn't get anything extra for her trouble but 2 very happy new Villagers. She also stayed in touch through and after closing.
Katie is a fabulous agent and I cannot recommend her highly enough. |

Beth Pope -VLS. She is a top agent with years of experience. Listens and knows what you are looking for and will meet your expectations. Organized, professional and knowledgable. Her husband also works with her as an agent.

![]() Other than your original post to this thread, you have requested twice again,
for more and more referrals for Realtors and sales agents. If you are going to choose from someone's recommendation from one of the posts, don't you have enough from which to choose??? What are you really looking for?

We were very fortunate to have Mike Fink for VLS listings. He really goes the extra mile as well as being able to understand exactly what you are looking for. He found us a great house!! Highly recommend him. Hope that helps.

We used VLS rep R. J. Albritton. We bought sight unseen. He went over and took lots of extra pictures for us to see. He answered every question honestly. He came by two days after we closed to check on us, and he continues to pop in if in the area. He was WONDERFUL,

Have you considered "None of the Above"? Rather than pay the usual 6% commission, you can either (a) sell it yourself or (b) pay a flat-fee listing broker (about $300) to put your house on the MLS system and numerous websites and give you some advice on selling. I would wouldn't recommend either approach, however, unless you are somewhat familiar with real estate transactions and/or willing to do some homework.
With a flat-fee broker, you reserve the right to sell your house yourself, in which case you pay no commission. If a realtor sells it for you, you pay whatever commission you stipulate when you list. The usual is 3%, which you would probably be wise to pay in order to incentivate realtors to show the property. But paying either 0% or 3% is a lot better than paying 6%. In either case, you will have to do some work and line up a title company to handle the closing. I happen to think that flat-fee brokers are probably the wave of the future. In reality, with the advent of the internet, a listing broker generally doesn't do much for his half of the standard 6% commission except put the house on the MLS and websites and hold a few open houses, with the open houses generally attracting more curious neighbors than serious shoppers. |
