Default Big doings at Mallory

Quite a commotion going on here a bit ago at Mallory. As I worked in my office, I noticed a young woman walk carrying a very small child. I thought that is odd, but thought nothing more of it. Within minutes there was a helicopter flying around our neighborhood, once twice, three time..... I figured maybe an accident?

I then notice that neighbors gathering. Hoping there was a plan for an impromptu ST Patty's day party I went outside.

Come to find out this woman had been spotted coming through houses at the golf course, had been seen in a neighbors lanai. By now the police had her for questioning at the end of the street and she and baby were taken off in an ambulance.

The helicopters are searching for her two male accomplices which have bolted and not been detained.

I am sure all of the details will be in the paper tomorrow

I still hear the helicopters as I hit submit...

When hubby went through the Caroline gate less than an hour ago, the gate guard said it was a car jacking. Not exactly sure what's happening, but while hubby was coming over the bridge on Morse, heading home, two police cars and an unmarked car with flashing interior lights went flying by.

Life is never dull around here, is it!

In tomorrows paper? You must be kidding. Disregard. The radio just confirmed that it will be in the paper in the morning.

Default Helicopter

I agree with F 16, as an old helo grinder from the U. S. Army in the 60's, seeing that reported in the "Daily Planet" tomorrow would be a miracle.

It will be in small print on page 5. The front page will be dominated by an article about a Villager who collects dried up dog turds.

Oh ye of little faith.
Just heard (2:30PM) on WVLG radio, all about the doings at Mallary. A red code alert has been issued; reverse 911 for those in the area. The authorities are still searching for the men involved.

Funny comment.

Back to the topic, I feel very safe and secure in TV. But this thread reminds me not to get complacent, and to keep the doors locked.

O.K. Brenda Starr wants to know. What happened to the young woman with the very young child (i.e. a baby?)

Haven't received the reverse 911 call from Sumter County yet and I'm not too far away.

Time is actually 3:30 PM despite what TOTV time indicates.

We haven't received a reverse 911 call either and I'm in Caroline, not near the gate, but only a couple of roads away from it...which is within the search area according to the crawler on Channel 2.

Actually haven't heard the helicopter in just a little bit.

What is a code red? Does that mean you need to hide in the basement? Does someone say something on the code red call???

AND I will rephrase my question about the young woman and baby. Do you think she is tied in somehow with the carjacking?
