they should have their own bike paths. I am really tired of getting behind 20 cyclists holding up traffic on the roads and golf cart paths. Drive up to the Ocala woods and ride there.

Indeed, you can even ride stark naked so long as your intent is not to be lewd or lascivious. That’s the Florida law! Without question, you can ride in a bikini or a Speedo if you want to without fear of arrest. Sweat may fall off in drops, but it doesn’t “fly off” like water shaken off by a dog. If it falls to the ground, no harm is done at all, and drops do fall to the ground. They are NOT aerosolized like a cough that can project a mist of virus particles across a room.

Talk about losing our freedoms because we have to wear a mask in a store (I wear mine and don’t complain)—what about the right to not have to wear a shirt? I read an article a few minutes ago about a 62 year old man who was arrested because he got drunk and sent a nude selfie to a 17 year old girl (what an idiot!). She complained because he was “gross”. “Gross” is how we look to a large percentage of younger people, clothed or not. Post a photo of two people our age kissing, and many young people will say, “Oh, gross!” Mention that you are 65 (male or female) and would like to have sex, and your children and grandchildren will probably say, “Oh! That’s so gross!” or “Too much information!”

How long will it be until young America wants us to wear face coverings when we are outside because they find our wrinkles offensive? How long before we aren’t allowed on a public beach unless we are dressed in a tent because other beach-goers find our obesity and sags and bulges offensive?

So, in response, I say, “If you are hot and sweating in a public place, feel free to take off your shirt! If other people find that offensive, tough!” I find tattoos offensive, but I can’t do anything about it. I find sports caps as fashion apparel offensive, especially if they are on backwards, but I can’t do anything about it. I find pants pulled down low to expose boxer shorts offensive, but I can’t do anything about it. I find tramp stamps offensive, but I can’t do anything about it. I find jeans with holes in the knees offensive, but I can’t do anything about it. I find big SUVs and pickup trucks offensive, but I can’t do anything about it. I even wish I were slim and trim and without wrinkles and handsome, but at least it’s not illegal to be an old curmudgeon.
After your long drawn out diatribe which turned a simple comment about "bike riders PLEASE wear a shirt" (which never suggested it was or was not legal) into yet another diatribe on the "you can do what you want because it's a free county" and discussing sex with your children and OF COURSE yet another face mask tyranny complaint (talk about complaining!), and tattoos and on and on ad nauseum when all that was asked in the topic was Bike Riders: PLEASE wear a shirt on the **PUBLIC PATHS**.

So how do you REALLY feel about that actual suggestion?

You are correct indeed regarding sweat. I learned something there after fact checking. [/facetious On] However your final suggestion would be an excellent idea because they often spit and cough while riding past walkers on their bikes but that would be against all our country stands for. [/facetious Off]
