How many here in TV feed the birds in your back yard?
Maybe a better question would be "Is illegal in TV to feed the birds?"

I believe it's illegal to feed only certain birds but it is suggested not to feed any wildlife Not sure how it can be enforced though.

Google would be your friend with a simple search on "is it illegal to feed birds in Florida?"

To add to Ed’s post, here is a link to a list of FL endangered birds. Quite frankly, seems like if you feed only, say, cardinals, what’s to prevent endangered birds from feeding from the same trough?

It's good to feed the birds if you want a bunch of palm rats running around.

Like most things endless debate. It is amusing t me that people see cardinals as good and crows as bad. I too am guilty. The other day I saw a huge rabbit. Cute, brown with white tail. They do a tremendous amount of damage. Same is true of squirrels. It is a rat with a fuzzy tail. If they gnaw into your attic the damage can be very expensive.

I've heard rumors that Marrier toads have been seen in the villages. They are huge toads, brought in as pets many years ago. They secret a poison on their skin. Enough to kill a cat or small dog. Someone thought they were cute. They are apparently moving north. Will iguanas be next?
