Wegman’s would be SOOOOO great but they won’t come any further south than they are now, which is in Raleigh NC area. At least that’s what the Wegman’s Henrietta, NY Store manager told me last year when I went north to see grandsons right before the pandemic escalated. Too bad -they’d put Publix out of business...My opinion only...

I'd prefer a COSTCO, but they don't seem to be interested in this area.

We don’t like Wegmans. I know many like them but we stopped half way through shopping and left we hated it so much.

Expensive but they do have good take out foods and excellent bread.

Re: that site at corner of 301 and Warm Springs

It's way too small for any BJ's, Sam's, or Costco. Perhaps a 7-11, or Wawa would fit.

Part of that location on the North side is occupied by a pond being constructed. The South side is even smaller.

Better to speculate on the land clearing on 44 east of Lake Deaton Plaza near border of Sumter County and Lake County.

Why let practicalities like space get in the way of where the new Costco is going to go?

Sam's Club Offer

Pay 45 for a year and get a 45 sams club gift card.

I have a Bj's card through the American Legion as well. There are lots of ways to get these cards for basically nothing
Sounds like a good deal to me. Sams isn't as good as Costco, but it is a lot closer. Not interested in BJ's at all. Tried them several times in the past. Higher prices, lower quality. I wouldn't shop at BJ's if they gave me a lifetime membership for free.

BJs is the best. Anything at Sams you can get at Walmart. The Costco near us is always a mess, stuff is always dropped in the isles etc. we stopped going although we liked their muffins. Love everything about BJ’s, been a member for over 30 years.

Sams seem to have fresher fruits and vegetables so we tend to buy them there.
