Question for the group!
We have followed all the threads on monthly expenses and hopefully understand the difference between bonds and CDD fees.
Assuming we will live in District 8 and purchase a Designer for around $275M, can you help us approximately break out the following items:
1) Cost of bond per month (is it 7% of appraised value?)
2) CDD costs per month
3) RE taxes assuming the FL Homestead exemption
Any other unanticipated expenses (amenity fees excluded) that will happen that we can't foresee beyond our own personal additions to our home? Nuts and Bolts is wonderful but doesn't talk about CDD's, I don't think.
We're trying to get specific figures for our situation. Sorry if these have been covered before!
