OP, this thread needs more information. Is this potable water or irrigation water? What type of surface is stained? Is the surface painted or not?

Sno Cap from ACE hardware does a great job at removing iron stains, which I GUESSING is what you are asking about.

It's inside water. I have a double canister filtration system. Am I the only one who has this problem?

I would suggest that you bypass the filtration system, if you can.

Having just gone through this, I can tell you that filters will not fix the problem since it caused by hard water. That is only corrected by softening the water. I can give you more details if you message me, but after a lot of research and sales pitches, we put on a Pegasus system and it works!

If you are talking about your shower I think what you say is brown is more like a pinkish orange color. You will need to scrub that with bleach cleaner to remove it and then get an after shower spray like Clean Shower. Spray everything that gets wet and leave it. It helps evaporate the water as it has alcohol in it

Is this a guessing game? The OP still has not revealed what surface has been stained.

I have the Pegasus system also and it eliminates nasty tastes and brown water but it does nothing for sediment / fine sand getting through.
MI, does your Pegasus eliminate the sediment?
Thx
