We went to see “A man called Otto” at Old Mill yesterday. The theater was about 85%-90% filled - not bad for a 4:45 movie that has already played for several days. We payed $17.00 for our tickets and $15.00 and change for the popcorn and cokes that took almost 15 minutes to get at the concession. Only one concession employee who was working very very hard and doing good work. Out front the Taco Shack also appeared to be doing a good business. It’s hard to believe that Old Mill is not a profitable business and that Barnstorm Theater couldn’t do the same. BTW, “A man called Otto” with Tom Hanks is a very enjoyable movie and Sumter Landing an enjoyable night out.
