Default Bike paths in Citrus grove.

VaPeople, glad you rode by, but I don’t know where you are talking about with bike paths surrounding th lots. So far there are only spec homes being built. None of the custom built homes on the pond have been built yet. New builds will be built in front of the first row of houses shown. Are you sure you are not looking at the road in front of the first row of “spec” houses? The custom houses will be built in front of them.

Yeah, it can get confusing because there are two places where James intersects Danielson.

We were looking at the lots on Danielson that back up to the pond.

It looks like they may be planning to put a walking/biking path between the back of the lots and the pond. There is no asphalt in place for what may be the biking/walking path, but the dirt was definitely smoothed out in a swath about 8 feet wide. It looked like the path will encircle the pond. There is a photo of that area on page A2 in the Daily Sun today.

Maybe it will be like Boudreau Court and Janesy Circle in Marsh Bend where there is a walking/biking path between the houses and the Hogeye Preserve.

From what we could tell, across the pond they plan to put in houses. No villas.

Omg! A friend was in t.v. last Sunday. He didn’t see any path in by the pond. I haven’t seen the lot at all. I live up north. Bought it just on my friend’s inspection. I’ll be coming down in a couple of weeks to see for the first time. Don’t I have any recourse of action on this? I don’t have access to the daily sun.is it possible for you to send or post the article for me? Thank you so much.

Someone on this thread told me that they rode their bikes around this area and they think a walking/bike path might be planned for around the pond. I can’t believe this. This was not an inexpensive lot. I haven’t seen it as I live up north. I will be down there in a couple of weeks. No wonder t.v. Wants $10,000 with one week of holding the lot. They wait till they are all sold, then wait till everyone pays the $10k, then they pull a stunt like this? Don’t I have any recourse? It’s a good thing I didn’t put my house up north up for sale yet.

I've been to the car show at Spanish Springs a couple of times and there's a guy there with an pristine Jaguar E type convertible. Gorgeous car, you're going to fit right in. Good luck finding your car cave.
I am from the u.s. but I do own a British car, similar to the one you mentioned, besides a muscle car, an suv, my sibling’s suv and tools. 5 car garage would be perfect. Lol! We looked into private storage. There is a private storage facility for cars about1 mile away. Car stacker is a good idea, but would have to have a house tall enough. I prefer a house pre-owned around brownwood or lake Sumter, but there aren’t enough
four car garages within that area.

Probably he did not see the path because he did not get out of his car and walk around the lots. From the back of the lots, it is easy to see the leveled strip along the pond which may become a walking/biking path.

Look at the lots on Boudreau Circle and Janesy Court in Marsh Bend. Do you think those homeowners were told there would be a walking/biking path right behind their lots? Since one of those houses without a pool is now selling for $1.1M, the path doesn't appear to have hurt the value of the homes.

It wasn't an article. It was just a photo in an advertisement for lots in Citrus Grove. Maybe a realtor can help you. Other people have recommended Beth Pope. I have never met her, but our friends said they used her to help sell their house and were very pleased,

When we were down there on Sunday, we took pictures where it appears a path may be built. Maybe my wife can post them here. She knows more about the computer than I do.

You have a rep, instead of getting info from TOTV, call your rep. We looked at a home with a walking path, on a pond in Chitty Chatty. The path was on the other side of the pond, and was not a surprise to us. Again you can apply any monies to another lot, as of right now 7 lots where you are building have just been released and are back on the market. How do I know that, because my rep texted me with a walk around of the lot. Sadly your friend may not have walked the lot, but if there is a path, it’s been in the plans since day one.

CALL your rep, if they can’t do the job GET someone else. I absolutely trust my guy

Difficult to pay attention to fine details when you are 2000 miles away and t.v. Photoshops things, as they do with many of the electrical towers behind homes. Pay more for a better location? Citrus grove doesn’t have any prime locations.

If you are going to spend a couple hundred thousand on a house - maybe spend $1000 and fly down for the weekend to do your own due diligence.

It certainly pays to due diligence when it comes to noise. The Turnpike noise could put a damper on what otherwise would be an excellent place to build. Another caution to take is the distance from Pickleball courts.

Here are some pictures:

1) The first photo was taken from what I think is your lot along Danielson Loop. James Road is in the background.

2) This was taken in back of your lot looking toward the golf course. I suspect this may be a walking/biking path.

3) This is another photo of the path looking away from the golf course. On the left, you can see the drop-off down to the pond.

4) This was taken from the front of your lot looking toward the retention pond.

5) This is a photo of the retention pond. It was taken from the back of your lot.

Thanks so much for doing this for me. My lot looks more like the 5th pic. I am not one of the lots on the golf course. I am closer to the middle the pond. I had asked a friend who lives outside t.v. If they would take a look. I will be down there in a couple of weeks. This friend asked one of the ce,ent workers what that strip was. He said it’s a road they flatten out so their trucks could drive up and down to plant trees. He said “no path”. He said the construction dept. has all the maps and they would know about paths. He insisted there would be not walk/bike path there. Sure hope he’s right.

Actually, all of the pictures were taken from what we thought was your lot on Danielson.
